DEFINITION OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses the natural and objective philosophy ideas to observe, understand and research the pattern and phenomenon of Mother Nature objectively. Also, Traditional Chinese Medicine uses nature philosophy ideas to observe, understand and research the human being’s physiology function, pathogenesis, and onset, property of the symptoms, principles and methods of the remedies, diet, health maintenance and prevention. Traditional Chinese Medicine put human being with Mother Nature together to observe, understand and research.

Traditional Chinese Medicine believes Mother Nature is in charge of human being’s living and existence. Human being is one of the many living things in the universe which is dependent on Mother Nature. Mother Nature uses four seasons and six weathers to regulate and control all the living things in the world. Human beings receive Mother Nature’s regulation and control just like living things in other classification. There are two kinds of property energy in Mother Nature, the human being bodies, plants, minerals and animals. They are hot and cold property energy. These two different property energy’s activities will directly affect the growth, development, transfer, transformation, harvest and storage interacting movement patterns of all living things. Mother Nature seeks to balance the cold and hot energy. This energy includes the amount, property, form, activity, tendency, location, position, condition and situation. Human being has the same reaction for the energy change. When these two energies are in balance, all the living things will be balanced and flourished; human being will be healthy. When these two energies are not balance, all the living things will lose the balance and cause depression. Human being will become unhealthy and develop diseases.

Traditional Chinese Medicine believes human being can go through several channels to regulate the body, reach and recover the healthy balance and take care of the symptoms. These unhealthy conditions and symptoms of diseases come from the imbalance of hot and cold energies of either human being themselves or Mother Nature.

Using plants, minerals and animals, different hot or cold property energy to regulate and balance human beings, hot or cold unbalance energy condition and situation. That is taking the Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs or herbal formulas to remedy the symptoms and brings the body back to health.

Using the diet’s different hot or cold property energy to regulate and balance the human being’s hot or cold unbalance energy condition and situation, to remedy the symptoms and brings the body back to health.

Using Traditional Chinese Medicine theory to guide people’s daily activities and exercise, regulate the abnormal daily activities and abnormal exercises, and balance the body hot and cold abnormal energy condition. Let the body and spirit fit in Mother Nature’s condition-completely coordinate, follow and balance with Mother Nature.

Using acupuncture and acupressure to regulate and improve the five yin organs and six yang organs functions, regulate and improve the Qi and blood circulation condition, balance the hot and cold energy properties and circulation which are running in the meridians.

When the abnormal energy unbalance condition get corrected and improved, the human being’s energy will reach normal level and normal condition. The symptoms will disappear, the abnormal signs will improve.

The principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to use natural materials and methods of Mother Nature to regulate the human being body and spirit functions, and to maintain healthy conditions. These are the goals and purposes of the Traditional Chinese Medicine.
